My early art quilts are single frame stories or statements about whatever I was thinking about.  They are primarily made of commercial cotton fabric although I used whatever material worked including plastic. Occasionally, I used fabric paint or pens, phototransfer or beads -- whatever the quilt called for.  My first piece was The Dancers, which unexpectedly grew to 10' x 9'.
