Civil Unrest is my response to the LA Riots.  It was made in the days that followed using articles and pictures from the Los Angeles Times photocopied on to fabric and commercial fabric images that reflected the chaos and looting that ensued.  The edge of the quilt and the newspaper clippings were burned to reflect the fires that were burning throughout the city.
