I like geometric quilt designs and bed quilts and wanted to celebrate them. Mary Ellen Hopkins, strip piecing, and the rotary cutter changed my life. I was thinking how nice it would be to have a felt board with a grid on it when making Three Sixty Geometry. The swatches and drawing on the grid were inspired by an exhibit of Bridget Riley drawings.
